Abstract

This article is part of a broader study on the perceptions of families with gifted children, which analyzes detection, identification, and support, alongside the training of educational professionals. A mixed-methods approach was used, involving the administration of a 22 item questionnaire completed by 132 participants. This second part of the study focuses specifically on the processes of training and educational support. The results reveal a deficient situation, characterized by a lack of resources, and, above all, insufficient training, which emerges as the main factor underlying the current shortcomings. The article concludes with suggestions for strategies that could lead to effective change.
